Civil Engineering Department UET, Lahore arranged a seminar titled “Project Risk Management”. The event was held on Wednesday, 25th September 2024 at 11:00am in the CED Seminar Hall (C3). Prof. Dr. Noor Muhammad Khan, Chairman Civil Engineering Department welcomed the guest and presented him with a bouquet.
Our guest speaker for the event was Mr. Mohammad Shoaib Sarwar. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds a NEBOSH certification in Health and Safety from England. With over 26 years of professional experience, Mr. Shoaib possesses a unique blend of technical and business management expertise in the field of civil engineering and project management.
The guest discussed the project risk management processes based on PMBOK. He successfully delivered the idea of a planned and controlled approach to project risk as an essential tool for project management in today’s modern world challenges. He also shared several examples from everyday life and from industrial projects to explain the concept of risk identification and how to respond it appropriately.
In the end, Prof. Dr. Noor Muhammad Khan gave concluding remarks and presented a shield to the guest.
