Lahore – Two faculty members from the Department of Civil Engineering, UET Lahore, Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Riaz and Dr. Muhammad Yousaf, participated in a 5-day training workshop titled “Enhancing Government Officials’ Capacity in Building and Safety Standards.” The workshop was conducted by International Accord – Pakistan Chapter and brought together professionals from various government departments.
Officials from Faisalabad Development Authority, Civil Defense, Rescue 1122, Punjab Labour Welfare Department, NESPAK, and LESCO also took part in this training, which aimed to enhance expertise in building regulations and safety measures. The participation of UET faculty highlights the university’s commitment to advancing knowledge and best practices in the field of civil engineering and public safety.
