We are incredibly proud to announce that Aslam Rana (Civil-92), a distinguished graduate of Department of Civil Engineering at UET Lahore, has been elected as a Member of Parliament from Hamilton Centre, Canada.
This win is not just personal—it’s historic. Hamilton Centre had been an NDP stronghold since 2004, and Rana Aslam’s inspiring and ground-breaking campaign brought a new wave of leadership, vision, and hope to the riding. His unwavering dedication and perseverance have made all UETians proud worldwide!
Mr. Rana, who also serves as Director/Secretary Communications for UETAC (University of Engineering and Technology Alumni of Canada), now represents a community and a legacy that transcends borders.
