Annually, as part of the Design of Steel and Composite Structures course in the MSc Structural Engineering program at the Department of Civil Engineering, we host experts specializing in Steel Structures Design to present on ‘Practical Aspects of Analysis and Design of Steel Structures.’ This year, on April 6, 2024, we were honored to have Engr. Hassan A. Goraya, a Structural Design Engineer from Rhino Pre-Engineered Buildings (Pvt.) Ltd., deliver an insightful lecture to our MSc class. Mr. Goraya covered practical implementation aspects pertinent to local steel structures, sparking enthusiastic engagement from the students who posed numerous questions. The session was well-received, providing a valuable experience for all involved. We extend our sincere gratitude to Engr. Hassan for generously sharing his expertise with our graduate students.
