On Thursday, May 9, 2024, a seminar titled “Conservation of Heritage Structures by Monitoring of Vibrations” was arranged at the Civil Engineering Department (CED), University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore, to disseminate the findings and achievements of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) funded National Research Program for Universities (NRPU) project No. 15954. The project team comprises of Dr. Rizwan Azam, Associate Professor CED as principal Investigator (PI), Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Riaz, Associate Professor CED as Co-PI and two research assistants Engr. Muhammad Faraz Javaid and Engr. Muhammad Ajmal.
The seminar was Led by Dr. Rizwan Azam and the event featured a presentation and discussion by Dr. M. Rizwan Riaz and Engr. Faraz Javaid.
The seminar attracted participants from various esteemed organizations, including NESPAK, the Department of Architecture, and faculty and students of Civil Engineering. A healthy and engaging discussion ensued at the end of the presentation, enriching the exchange of ideas and insights.
