The Department of Civil Engineering is set to expand its intake, with plans to induct 50 additional students per session, raising the total number of undergraduate students to 1,000 across four years. This strategic move aligns with the growing demand for civil engineers and the department’s commitment to enhancing educational capacity.
As part of this expansion process, the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) arranged a formal visit to assess and support the proposed increase in intake.
🗓️ On June 11, 2025, Engr. Prof. Dr. Abdul Sami Qureshi and Engr. Hira Arshad, distinguished representatives from PEC, visited the Department of Civil Engineering. Their visit included an in-depth review of the department’s infrastructure, academic environment, and capacity to accommodate the planned increase in enrollment.
The department extends its gratitude to PEC for their continued support and guidance in maintaining and enhancing the standards of engineering education in Pakistan.
