This year, as part of the Design of Steel and Composite Structures course in the MSc Structural Engineering program, we were delighted to host a team of experts from Banu Mukhtar Steel.
Representing the firm’s expertise were Engr. Nabeel Shehzad, Design Manager for PEB Steel Buildings, and Engr. Fahad Aziz, Senior Manager of Business Development.
The guest lecture, delivered by Engr. Nabeel Shahzad, elevated this year’s session to new heights. His presentation was comprehensive and skillfully delivered, covering all essential aspects of pre-engineered steel building design. In fact, Engr. Nabeel shared that he focused precisely on the topics he felt were most important when he began his career as a design engineer.
Planned for one hour, the engaging discussion extended to over two and a half hours—a testament to its relevance and the enthusiastic participation from our graduate students. The session was very well received, offering immense practical insight and inspiration.
