The Department of Civil Engineering, University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore, had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Md. Sirajul Islam, Professor, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, North South University (NSU), Dhaka, Bangladesh, on November 11, 2025, at 12:00 PM.
Dr. Islam is also a Member of the Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Technical Education (BAETE), The Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB). With vast academic and professional experience in water resources, environmental engineering, climate change, and disaster management, Dr. Islam shared valuable insights from his international engagements with organizations such as UNFCCC, IPCC, UNDP, ADB, GIZ, and the World Bank.
The department greatly appreciated his visit and the opportunity to exchange ideas fostering academic and research collaboration between UET Lahore and NSU Dhaka.
